CLEA Gets Really Shady

So after my denial I inform California Law Enforcement Associate of my intent to appeal the denial.  Among the many things I was furious about was the continued accepting of my premiums, despite there claim I was not even eligible for benefits.  CLEA said they only accepted payments because I kept information from them until August 2012.  Then things get really shady.

I pointed out and offered to bring in phone records showing in February I was on the phone with CLEA for 45 minutes late on a Friday afternoon.  My question was if I did not discuss my paid administrative leave status during that initials phone call, what in the world were we talking about for 45 minutes?

So I request a copy of my file and when it came in, to my surprise it had notes all over the place dating back to my very first phone call to CLEA.  The notes are about my admin leave status. They also state that I was told this was an issue and it needed to be explored further.

Wait a minute, in the letter they sent me in September denied any knowledge of my work status until August. They even sad I intentionally kept it from them.

But once I bring up circumstantial evidence that I must have been talking to their staff about something important to be on the phone so long, suddenly notes appear giving a vastly different version of events than I recall.

I'm not saying anyone is lying or falsifying documents.  But if they are not, it shows a serious issue of competency within the organization that the file was passed around so many different people and multiple reviews and nobody noticed I was not eligible for benefits for several months.

But it is suspicious that all the sudden notes appear from a conversation that never took place.
But the games weren't over yet.  The plot continues to thicken.  If you are not convinced yet continue reading.
